Vba32 AntiRootkit can function in three modes (using Vba32 antivirus engine as well as without it).
- To use Vba32 AntiRootki with antivirus bases support, it should be located in the
%VBA32% folder. After launching, the program tries to get a COM-object of the Vba32 antivirus engine and uses it for checking.
- If the COM object is unavailable, Vba32 AntiRootkit loads antivirus bases in its own memory and uses them directly.
- Also, it’s possible to use Vba32 AntiRootkit separately from the VBA32 antivirus. The antivirus engine doesn’t scan objects at all in this case.
